SEE: Sidharth Malhotra Failed Class 9 Due To This Reason

Young girls chant Sidharth Malhotra for his dapper looks. With his boys next door looks, girls go crazy. There’s an age we don’t feel like going to the school, waking up early, getting ready. A monotonous morning routine frustrates us and we try to skip school. Well, this was not the case with our fourteen year old Sidharth. Here’s more to the story.

Sidharth has been working on his upcoming film’s promotions. Recently on The Kapil Sharma Show Sid spill-out his teen secrets. Sidharth had been promoting with his co-actor Parineeti Chopra for their upcoming rustic rom-com, Jabariya Jodi. Well the ladies’ man flunked in his class 9 exams. The shocking reason being his distraction for girls. The actor revealed, “Yes, my attention was diverted by girls. But this (the failure) turned out to be a positive thing in my life as I was eventually moved to a co-ed school where I learned better. And I passed my 10th and 11th grade with good grades.”

Sidharth mentioned it right, we cannot teach gender sensitivity in isolation. Karon Johar’s Student Of The Year is coming up with his next Jabariya Jodi. The story has a unique plot where in a thug helps kidnap grooms in order to avoid paying out dowries for their upcoming marriage. The rom-com helmed by Prashant Singh is set to hit theatres this August 2.

To our surprise the actor will be seen as a Bihari boy, we’re amused to why Sid was cast for the character. The director revealed in an  interview, “I wanted to make this film in a bigger set-up and so we needed big stars. It was the producer who suggested Sidharth’s name. I felt we should explore him in a different avatar. He loved the story and agreed immediately. He wanted to do something new, he wanted to break the mould. I knew I could surprise people with Sidharth and we started working on getting his body language, diction right. He has really worked hard.”

The trailer has received all praise from the audience. We aren’t sure whether Sid is still distracted by girls or not. We know for sure that Jabariya Jodi will be all noise at the box office.
