Naezy Shocking Revelation About Gully Boy
Poulomi Polo Das was seen in promo asking Naezy, “Woh film (Gully Boy) aap hi pe bani thi kya? Mujhe baad me kisi ne bataya (Was that film made on you? Someone told me later).”
Naezy responded, “Haan. Asal mein vo film se bahut saare log jude huye hai. Vo pure hip-hop culture ko represent kiya hai humne. Lekin main character (Murad Ahmed) jo tha vo mere se inspire hua tha. Aafat gaana, mera jo pehla song tha, jo viral hua tha, yeh gaane ke through unhone mujhe dhunda tha. (Yes. Many people were associated with that film. It represented the entire hip-hop culture. But the main character was inspired by me. Arafat song, my first song that went viral, they found me through that song).
Naezy Talks About His First Love
In Big Boss OTT 3 Naezy was seen talking to Sana Sultan about love and relationships.
While talking Naezy mentioned, “First love is always special and there’s nothing like it. It always holds a unique place in one’s heart but people can fall in love more than once, depending on the situation.”
While responsible Sana Sultan also expressed her thoughts on now-a-days relationship trends. She said, “Loyalty is expensive nowadays, it’s rare to find someone who will stand by you through your ups and downs but once you find it you should cherish it.”
Naezy career trajectory
Rapper Naved Shaikh aka Naezy grew up in slum areas of Ram Bachan Chawal in Mumbai. He got his breakthrough from his music album “Aafat!” in 2014.
Naezy collaborated on a song “Mere Gully Mein” with his fellow rapper DIVINE in 2015. Zoya Akhtar noticed his calibre and decided to make a musical film Gully Boy in which the “Mere Gully Mein” song was remade. Gully Boy was released in 2019 with stars like Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh.
