Apart from the newly married divas, actresses like Shilpa Shetty are also prepared for the big day.
Shilpa Shetty’s Sargi for Karwa Chauth
Talking about the same, the fitness and yoga enthusiast personality has shared glimpses of her ‘Sargi’. For those who don’t know, Sargi is a thali that consists of a pre-dawn meal consumed by the women before keeping their day-long fast. The thali also consists of makeup, mehendi, sindoor and other items that are used by mostly married women. It is usually handed over to the daughter-in-laws by their mother-in-laws on Karwa Chauth.
The extensive thali displayed an assortment of treats including matthi, sweets, and lachcha seviyan. Alongside the delectable spread, there were also bangles, bindis, and mehendi. Shilpa Shetty’s caption for the post included “#Sargi #Happyfasting,” along with red heart emojis and a nazar amulet emoji.

Meanwhile, Shilpa Shetty will celebrate the festival with her husband Raj Kundra. Both husband and wife are currently promoting the businessman’s upcoming movie UT69. The film is based on the experiences Raj Kundra had to go through during his trial. For the unversed, Raj Kundra’s name was involved in an alleged pornography case. During the trailer launch of his film, Raj Kundra broke down into tears requesting to not involve his family.
