Actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra and her husband Raj Kundra have been hitting the headlines for all the wrong reasons lately. The businessman has been arrested after he was accused of the creation and distribution of pornographic content and is under police custody as of now. After his arrest, several models and aspiring actors have come ahead leveling serious allegations against Raj Kundra.
Recently the crime branch raided Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s residence in Juhu for further investigation. Raj Kundra was also taken to his residence while the search was being conducted. As per a report in Free Press Journal, Shilpa Shetty had a heated argument with Raj Kundra while she was giving her statement to the Crime Branch the actress broke down. The actress was reportedly shaken and upset while she recorded her statement for two hours.
In her statement, Shilpa Shetty had denied her involvement in the company, claiming she was not aware of the exact content of the “Hotshots” app. She said that the movies available on Hotshot are not pornography but erotica. She also said that nowadays, similar content is available on the various OTT platforms and in fact, some are more obscene than what is available on Hotshot.”
