Actor and Model Sherlyn Chopra is making headlines ever since Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra got arrested in a porn case. The model has now claimed that Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra have been harassing her mentally. Sherlyn has now filed a case against the couple and has also demanded Rs 75 crore for the mental torture.
This comes after Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra had filed a defamation case against the model and seeking 50 crores for the same. The couple had filed the case stating that Sherlyn is running their image in public by making false accusations and allegations against them.
Shilpa and Raj through their legal team sent her a notice saying that they seek a public apology in newspapers and on the digital platforms. “Failing which my clients shall institute appropriate civil and criminal proceedings against you (Sherlyn Chopra) without further reference to you,” the notice said. “The entire allegations made by Sherlyn Chopra against Raj Kundra and Ms. Shilpa Shetty Kundra, are concocted, false, fake, frivolous, baseless, without any evidence, even to Sherlyn Chopra’s knowledge and have been made with an ulterior motive to defame and extort money,”
Sherlyn in her recent complaint has stated that the couple has threatened her with the underworld. The notice read, “Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty threatened me with the underworld and now sent me defamation notice but I’ll not get scared. I request the police to record my statement so that cognizance can be taken of my complaint. I’ve sent a reply notice asking for Rs 75 crore for mental harassment.”
