According to rumours and various images that leaked before to Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput’s wedding, the doting wifey was previously in a serious relationship with an actor! According to many sources, Mira and Aditya were quite serious about each other. They had apparently split up after dating for two years. During Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput’s wedding, a few photos of Mira and Aditya hugging each other leaked on the internet.
In an interview with BollywoodLife, a source close to Mira Rajput verified the relationship allegations. According to the source, Aditya was a year older than Mira, and the two were frequently seen together at a mall near their school. The source revealed: “Aditya and Mira were in the same school (Vasant Valley, Delhi). Aditya was a batch elder to Mira, but that didn’t stop them from falling in love with each other. In fact, they used to go on many dates in the mall near the school. However, things didn’t work out between the two after which they decided to call it quits.”
Mira and Aditya, however, parted ways since fate had other plans for them. Furthermore, the report indicated that Aditya attended Loughborough University in London for advanced studies after finishing high school. And by the time Aditya returned to India, Mira had moved on with Shahid. Even when Aditya was ready to reconcile with Mira, she refused, and their relationship crumbled. The source revealed: “He returned to the country last year and wanted to get back to her, but she obviously refused because Shahid came into her life.”
In terms of Mira Rajput and Shahid Kapoor’s marriage, their families prepared for an arranged marriage in 2014. Shahid married Mira, a 14-year-old girl, on July 7, 2015, at The Oberoi Hotel in Gurgaon, following a whirlwind relationship. Their wedding celebration lasted a week and their Anand Karaj ceremony appeared straight out of a storybook. Mira is now the backbone of Shahid’s family, and the couple is seen enjoying the best of their times together.
