Shaheer Shaikh and Ruchikaa Kapoor had tied the knot last year in November after enjoying a courtship for a year and a half. They had a court marriage keeping in mind the pandemic situation and were planning to have an extravagant social wedding in June this year. It was also reported that the couple flew off to Shaheer’s hometown in Jammu where they had a small informal ceremony post their court marriage. They also had another ceremony at Ruchika’s house in Mumbai. Now just a few months after their marriage the couple is all set to embrace parenthood and they are ecstatic about it.

In a recent interview with Times Of India, Shaheer unravelled a lot of things about his life after marriage. When asked about what he has to say about wife’s Ruchikaa’s pregnancy he said, “Let’s not talk about it. It is too early to comment.”

Further talking about entering a new phase in his life and sharing space with someone he had said, “I am learning new things every day and taking up new responsibilities. I lived alone for many years in Mumbai, so I am learning to share my space with someone now. (laughs) I enjoy cooking for her. Also, Ruchikaa and I are moving to a new home, so the last few months have been spent doing it up. I believe in living a simple, minimalistic life, and it is a modest house and not something gigantic.”
