Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has reportedly received a fresh death threat just days after the shocking murder of his close friend, former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique. A message allegedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang was sent to the Mumbai Traffic Police, demanding a ransom of Rs 5 crore to resolve the ongoing conflict with the notorious gangster.
According to a tweet from ANI, the Mumbai Traffic Police were alerted to the threatening message via WhatsApp, which ominously warned Khan that his safety depended on compliance with the gang’s demands. The note suggested that failure to pay could lead to dire consequences, even worse than those faced by Baba Siddique, who was murdered on October 12.
The sender’s message stated, “Don’t take it lightly. If Salman Khan wants to stay alive and end his enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, he must pay Rs 5 crore. If the money is not given, Salman Khan’s condition will be worse than Baba Siddique.”

In response to the threat, the Mumbai Police have launched an investigation to identify the individual behind the message. This latest incident is part of a series of death threats Khan has faced over recent months, primarily attributed to the Bishnoi gang. Given the heightened risk, security measures for the actor have been significantly intensified.
Earlier this week, the Navi Mumbai police apprehended a suspect connected to the Bishnoi gang, identified as Sukha or Sukhbir Balbir Singh, in Panipat, Haryana. This arrest followed suspicions of a plot to kill Khan, underscoring the severity of the threats against him.
Baba Siddique, a prominent political figure and Khan’s close friend, was shot dead outside his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Bandra, a well-off area in Mumbai. The police have made four arrests related to the case, with Shubham Lonkar, believed to be the main conspirator, publicly stating that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang was behind the murder.
The escalating violence and threats in Mumbai’s underworld have raised alarm bells among local authorities and residents alike. As investigations continue, the entertainment industry watches closely, concerned about the implications for public safety and the well-being of its stars. The public remains hopeful that law enforcement can effectively address this troubling trend of gang-related violence.
