Bollywood actresses have a long history of feuding with one another. But, in the 1990s, Raveena Tandon and Karisma Kapoor’s relationship was one of the most contentious in Bollywood. They had an unpleasant spat, and even though they attempted to keep a polite relationship in front of each other, they always said something or other behind one other’s back. For the uninitiated, Karisma and Raveena co-starred in the film Andaz Apna Apna starring Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. Nonetheless, everyone is well aware of their dreadful equation. Raveena had previously revealed that she was supposedly dropped from two projects because of Kapoor.
Recently, when asked about her supposed rivalry with Raveena Tandon in an interview with Stardust, Karisma Kapoor opened out, saying, “How can she say that my mother doesn’t recognise her? In reality, when they meet, it is Raveena who does not greet her. We’ve all been taught decent manners, and we should put them to practice. Raveena should understand how to respect elders. And what does Raveena mean when she says Salman and I are conspiring against her? Salman and I are both busy celebrities with better things to do than conspire against Raveena. “I’m confident Salman will agree with me.”
In one of her recent conversations with ANI, Raveena also revealed that Karishma has her own set of friends. She further added that both actresses don’t hang out with each other but do greet each other when they meet socially.
