Aamir Khan is known as Mr Perfectionist for some reason. If he has taken something up, he will make sure that he delivers nothing but the best in it. Another actor that we know would deliver perfection in all his work is the TV star turned Bollywood actor Ronit Roy. The two got a chance to work on a project together and Ronit Roy has revealed how he felt doing the same. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Ronit Roy revealed that he was once told, casting junior artistes instead of him would be a great idea. The actor also spoke about the time when he used to work as Aamir Khan’s bodyguard and how he learnt from him.
Speaking to the entertainment portal, Ronit Roy says when he was told that casting junior artistes instead of him, was hurtful but that only pushed him to work more hard. He also revealed that the same person who rejected him once offered him a film two years ago. “My manager was once told that ‘why should we cast Ronit Roy?’ Junior artistes are better than him. I had not understood then. Today, I understand what he meant and it was very hurtful but that man did me a favour. Two years back, that same man offered me a film and I did not do it because it was a bad film. He woke me from a slumber and made me work harder on myself.”
Recalling the time when Ronit Roy worked as Aamir Khan’s bodyguard for two years, he said, “I was fortunate to spend time with Aamir and learnt what is diligence and drive for work. In many ways, Aamir started the ball rolling for me. He opened those windows for me and then I stopped caring about big cars and apartments. I then wanted to learn my craft.”
