Shraddha Kapoor, who has been linked to screenplay writer Rahul Mody, recently opened up about her relationship status in an interview with Cosmopolitan. Although she didn’t mention any names, Kapoor confirmed that she is in a relationship.
“I really love spending time with my partner and doing things with him like watching a movie, going for dinner, or travelling,” she said. Kapoor added, “I am generally someone who likes to spend time doing things together or even not doing things together.” The Stree actress emphasized the importance of spending time with loved ones, explaining, “Even with my school friends, if we don’t meet, it affects my mood. Yesterday, we had a family lunch, which was so uplifting and invigorating, and the same goes for my relationship.”
Stree 2 success
Kapoor’s latest film Stree 2 has been a massive success, surpassing the lifetime collections of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan. With her professional life thriving, fans have been curious about her personal life, especially her wedding plans. However, Kapoor hinted that marriage is not a priority right now.
Speaking on the topic, Kapoor stated, “It is not a question of believing in marriage or not, but more about being with the right person. If one feels they want to get married, that’s great, but if they feel like they don’t want to, that’s great too.”
During the trailer launch of Stree 2, when asked about her own wedding, Kapoor, dressed in a red saree, quipped, “Woh Stree hai, usse jab dulhan banna hai woh banegi” (She is Stree; she will become a bride whenever she feels like). Her witty response amused the audience and avoided giving a direct answer.
Rumours of Kapoor dating Mody surfaced last year when they were spotted together on multiple occasions. The duo also attended a friend’s wedding in March, fueling further speculation. A source close to the couple had earlier told Hindustan Times, “They have been going strong after working on the film together. They are in a comfortable position and don’t feel the need to hide their relationship, but they are both private individuals and are not rushing to make things official.”
Kapoor and Mody continue to be spotted together but maintain a low-key approach to their relationship.
