However, did you know that the diva never really had a plan to enter the film industry? Yes, Raveena was encouraged by her friends to get into a modeling career and later in acting. Before making her debut with ‘Pathar ke phool’ Raveen was working as an intern at an ad filmmaker’s studio. The actress later decided to get into modeling for extra pocket money. And, after her debut, the actress won a Filmfare for the new face of the year in 1991.
But, according to the actress she had gone through a lot before tasting the success with her first film. As per the actress she had done many odd jobs like cleaning floors. “I did start from cleaning the studio floors to wiping off vomit from the stalls floors and studio floors and stuff, and I did assist Prahlad Kakkar I think straight out of 10th Standard,” she told a media portal.
Raveen added that people around her used to say that what is she doing behind the camera she should work in front of it. She said that she is by default in this industry as she was always reluctant to work in films.
