However, a video of the actress having a non-veg burger has upset her followers. Rashmika Mandanna is receiving backlash from her fans for allegedly lying to them.
Earlier, Rashmika Mandanna claimed in an interview that she is a vegetarian. But now an advertisement showing her enjoying a nin veg burger has come into the limelight. After the advertisement went viral many questioned whether the actress wasn’t vegetarian? “ap ne to kha tha ap vegetarian ho? (you had told, you were vegetarian?) a user asked her in the comment section. “why is she giving false statement and why can’t tell the truth what a hypocrite,” wrote another user. Many Instagram users also pointed out that the actress has become the brand ambassador for many vegan food companies
A section of the audience also questioned the choice of advertisement of the actress. “why does she have to promote the junk food?” wrote one user. “for these celebrities all that matters is the money and nothing else,” mentioned another user. But, soon after the fans of the actress also defended the diva by saying that she is not forcing anyone to eat junk every day. So far, neither Rashmika nor her team has come up with any statement regarding the endorsement.
Meanwhile, the junk food brand has disabled its comment section on youtube amid the backlash. On the work front, Rashmika Mandanna has many interesting projects in the pipeline including Animal and Pushpa 2.
