Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, known for her outspoken nature and bold statements, has once again made headlines with her latest revelations. In a recent interview, the Queen actress disclosed that she turned down a role in Ranbir Kapoor’s 2018 film Sanju, despite Kapoor personally approaching her for the project.

During an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Kangana shared insights into her career decisions, highlighting her selective approach towards film roles. “Ranbir himself came to my house and said, ‘Please do a role in Sanju.’ I didn’t do it, but that doesn’t mean it affected our professional relationship,” Kangana said, emphasizing that her refusals and public criticisms have not strained her industry connections.

Kangana also discussed her refusal to work with some of Bollywood’s biggest stars, including the three Khans—Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan. In another interview with Raj Shamani, she revealed that she had declined films featuring the Khans because she believed they wouldn’t offer her a substantial role. “I have turned down deals worth Rs 10-15 crores because they endorse fairness creams. It is racist. I’ve been like this from the beginning, even before I was successful,” she explained.

Despite her rejections, Kangana clarified that her decision was not due to any negative experiences with the Khans. “All the Khans have been very kind and nice to me. There are people who’ve misbehaved with me, but the Khans were not among them,” she added, dispelling any notion of animosity between her and the industry giants.

On the professional front, Kangana is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Emergency, in which she not only stars but also directs and produces. The film boasts an ensemble cast including Shreyas Talpade, Milind Soman, Vishak Nair, Mahima Chaudhry, Bhumika Chawla, Anupam Kher, and the late actor Satish Kaushik.

As always, Kangana’s candid revelations have stirred conversation in Bollywood circles, reaffirming her reputation as one of the industry’s most fearless voices.
