Radhika Apte On Bollywood V/S Hollywood: You Don’t Have To Beg Them For Money
Radhika Apte, the Bollywood actress is all set with her Hollywood career. The actress is famous for her Netflix hits Sacred Games, Lust Stories and Ghoul. Except the Netflix series, her next Hollywood project is Liberte: A Call To Spy. As the actress opened up about her working experience in Indian film industry and abroad she revealed, the major difference in Bollywood and Hollywood is that the artist doesn’t have to beg for the money.
In a recent interview with DNA, Radhika pointed out the differences in Bollywood and Hollywood. As she talks about Hollywood she says, “People are very punctual there. And they pay you on time. You don’t have to beg them for money.” In her upcoming Liberte: A Call To Spy, Radhika will be seen as a spy named Noor Inayat Khan aka Nora Baker. The film revolves on a real life World War II story. Nora Baker was the first woman wireless operator to parachute into Nazi-occupied France to help the French Resistance.
To prep for the World War II film she has delved into reading materials, scripts, spy films and classic novels. After all, she started with theatre and as an actor she wants to thoroughly understand her character. That’s a lot of input on her part. Radhika was last seen in Andhadhun co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana and in PadMan starring opposite to Akshay Kumar. Both were blockbusters. Talking about her Hollywood journey, she has made an appearance in The Wedding Guest starring opposite to Dev Patel and co-starring Jim Sarbh.
