Recently, Priyanka Chopra discussed her first trip to India with her daughter Malti Marie and her experience launching Citadel marketing in Mumbai. Priyanka Chopra, an actress, is getting ready for the premiere of her new series, Citadel. Together with her co-star Richard Madden, she is presently promoting the series in London. Priyanka was spotted entering the city with her husband Nick Jonas and daughter Malti Marie as the pair began their promotional tour in Mumbai. Malti Marie was visiting India for the first time. In a recent interview, Priyanka discussed her experiences beginning her career in Mumbai and taking her daughter to India for the first time.
Global actress, Priyanka Chopra admitted to being emotional when she began her promotions in Mumbai in an interview with Extra TV. Added the actress, “It was so sweet. It was very emotional for me that we kicked off this whole global tour in Mumbai. I was sitting right next to Richard and my mom and we’re surrounded by friends and family and industry folk that have seen me since I was 18 years old. It was poignant and really emotional for me. Citadel is the sum of my 22 years in the business. It’s everything that I have learnt and everything that I know. It’s something I’m very proud of and hopefully people will enjoy the show as much as we enjoy it.”
Priyanka also talked about the time her daughter spent in Mumbai. The little person, according to her, enjoyed being here. She said: “It was Malti’s first time in India. It was Malti’s first time in Mumbai. She loves it. She loved everything about it, from the sights to the sounds, to the food… from going to her nani’s house, which is my mom’s house. She loved everything about it.” Priyanka was seen accompanying Malti Marie to the Siddhivinayak Temple while they were together. Even posting images for her followers, she wrote, “MM’s first trip to India had to be completed with Shree Siddhivinayak’s blessings.”
On the professional front, Priyanka Chopra will next be featured in the upcoming spy-thriller web series Citadel, which will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on April 28 with two episodes, followed by a new episode every Friday until May 26. In the show, Priyanka and Richard Madden play elite spies for the Citadel organisation.
The romantic comedy Love Again will also feature Priyanka, which will be seen by fans. Priyanka, who lost her partner in the movie, decides to try love again. Additionally, Nick appears in the film in a special cameo. Alongside Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt, Priyanka may be seen in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa.
