A publication recently addressed the diva just by calling her ‘Wife of Nick Jonas’ which did not acknowledge all her achievements. The article did not go down well with the actress and she took a screenshot of it and posted it on Instagram.
PC, who is known for her feminist thoughts and approach towards life, took to Instagram this morning to lash out at the publication for belittling her identity by addressing her as ‘wife of…’. An angry Priyanka shared screen-grabs of the report and wrote, “Very interesting that I’m promoting one of the most iconic franchises of all time and I’m still referenced as ‘the wife of…’
Adding another screenshot of a news article in the same Instagram story, she wrote, “Please explain how this still happens to women? Should I add my IMDB link in bio?” The actress also tagged her husband Nick Jonas in the story post.
On the work front, Priyanka is currently busy promoting her upcoming film Matrix: Resurrections. The Matrix: Resurrections stars Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, as well as Daniel Bernhardt, Jada Pinkett Smith, Neil Patrick Harris, Jonathan Groff, and Jessica Henwick along with PeeCee. It is set to hit the theatres on December 22, this year.
