Priyanka Chopra, who has lived in the US for many years, is returning to India after over three years. She will be travelling for the first time after the birth of her daughter, Malti Marie. Priyanka Chopra returns to India
Priyanka has been residing in the United States for some time. She is preparing to return to India after three long years, which is undoubtedly great news for all Priyanka Chopra fans. She expressed her delight about returning home on Instagram Stories earlier today. She posted a picture of her boarding card along with the following message: “Finally…going home. After almost 3 years.” Her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, who she welcomed in January through surrogacy, will be the first person she has travelled with since the birth of the child.
Looks like PeeCee is back in India to begin shooting her much awaited movie Jee Lee Zaraa, starring Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. But there hasn’t yet been a formal announcement. Farhan Akhtar, who most recently directed Don 2, will be returning to the director’s chair for this project. After the Shonali Bose-directed movie The Sky Is Pink from 2019, Jee Le Zaraa marks Chopra’s return to the Hindi cinema industry.
It was anticipated that the Bajirao Mastani actress will travel back to India in April of this year, but this did not occur. She expressed her desire to return to India to Travel+ Leisure while claiming that her brain has been taking nightly vacations. “Every state in India has its own written and spoken language, which means different alphabets, clothing, attire, foods, and holidays. So it’s like going to a new country every time you cross the border in India. Every time I go back home, I make sure I take time to do a bit of a holiday and travel,” Priyanka stated.
On the professional front, Priyanka is working on a number of projects. She will soon play the lead in the web series Citadel on Amazon Prime Video. Alongside Sam Heughan and Celine Dion, the Mary Kom actress will appear in the film It’s All Coming Back to Me.
