That's me 10 days after that nasty fall.. With multiple fractures in my right wrist , elbow fracture in the left arm, a ligament tear on my left leg and a surgery, still smiling… I am on the road to recovery and shall recover soon as well but all this while in the hospital I kept wondering why me?? Why did I had go through all of this and am still looking for the answer, probably I'll get it later in life… But all I have to say right now is that we all artists and entertainers put a lot of effort to entertain our audience it would be really great if our audience can for once be appreciative towards our efforts instead of being extremely harsh. Thank you! Thank you for all the love you all have been sending all this while 💓

She further went on to add that her family has been really supportive and is taking care of her. She had stated, “My family is there. We have nurses 24×7 who attend to me. I am unable to do anything. I can’t even pull a blanket on myself because my hands are not working at all. In fact, right now as well, you are on speaker because I can’t hold the phone either”.

When asked about her near-death experience she shared, “I don’t remember anything from that moment as I had a partial memory loss after that. The last I remember is the excruciating pain after I hit the floor. Sandeep showed me a video, where I can see myself dancing and the next moment I fall. It was very shattering for me to see it because even today, I can’t recall anything. I had a short time memory loss after I fell down from the stage.

She had further added, “I was in the ambulance, feeling all dizzy. I couldn’t understand what was happening and where was I being taken. But after I got admitted and was given heavy painkillers, I gradually came to my senses and was told that I have multiple fractures.
When asked about if she has consulted any specialist for partial memory loss she revealed, “Yes, I did and got a couple of CT scans done too. Thankfully, medically it was all fine. But according to the doctors, because the accident was huge and painful, I have had a memory block about it, hence I don’t remember anything”.

She further went on to add, “Well, I should tell you this- the accident was so bad that people present on the sets and also those who have seen the video, including me, feel that this could have been worst. But luckily, I happened to save my head and my face. Agar main haath nahi rakhti to kuch bhi ho sakta tha. Probably my knees would have shattered or my brain would have taken the blow. Since I am also an athlete, I managed to save my head and face. And I really thank god for saving me”.

She revealed she is back one from the hospital and the recovery is going pretty well. She was quoted as saying, “I had actually told the doctors that I don’t want to go in for surgery, of course, I didn’t realise the degree of my injuries till then. As surgeries were inevitable in my case, I had to get operated and was in the hospital for 8-9 days. Right now, I am just glad that I am back home. This will take time, at least a month to stand on my feet, 6 weeks for the hand plaster to come out and 3 for the leg. Post that, I will start physiotherapy sessions”.

She further opened up about how her husband is petrified after her fall. She said, “Completely! He is extremely shocked with the incident because he saw me falling right in front of his eyes and he was unable to do anything- that makes him more upset. But I keep telling him not to feel bad about it and I also try to forget it as a bad dream. It’s always better to move on”.

She revealed that her friends from the show Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2 has been really supportive of her and has paid a visit to her as she is unwell. She shared, “ y friends have been taking time out from their busy schedules and visiting me. My whole Kasautii family came to see me- Erica Fernandes, Parth Samthaan, Shubhaavi Choksey. Karan Singh Grover has not come yet but he will be coming soon. He is in constant touch with me. Ekta Ma’am has also been in continuous touch with Sandeep to know about my recovery as I can’t be on phone throughout”.

She also shared that the Nach Baliye team is equally concerned about her health. She had stated, “They were also equally concerned. Urvashi Dholakia was the first one to call after learning about my accident. Not only the contestants but also crew members of the show visited me in the hospital. Though I was a part of the show for a short span of time, but I have worked with all these actors like Vishal Aditya Singh, Madhurima Tulli and Urvashi Dholakia in Chandrakanta, Aly Goni in Dil Hi To Hai, Anita Hassanandani and Shraddha Arya shoot in the same premises where I shoot for Kasautii in Klick Nixon. Faisal and I have gone for an outdoor event in Indonesia. When I joined Nach Baliye 9, all of them were so happy to have me on board. They all have sent their regards and wishes for a speedy recovery”.

She further shared how she misses shooting and having fun on sets and said, “I am missing the set and my on-screen family too. Also, we completed one year yesterday and I am feeling so bad that I am not with them to celebrate the moment. But right now my focus is just to heal faster, so that I can be back to normal. If I will compromise on my rest, then it may result into complications later. I have decided until I am not able to walk on my own feet, I will not resume shooting.

She revealed that she will resume work only after she recovers completely. She was quoted as saying, “They are being patient. I get calls from writers on the show, asking if they can write my scenes ahead but I have told them not to because I want to be totally fine before resuming work. I can’t be dependent on my friends and nurse, on the sets. I have always maintained a cordial relationship, not just with Balaji telefilms but all production houses I have worked with. So, they are being considerate. For instance, next month my web series was above to start (Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai Season 3) and they are willing to wait for me to resume”.

We hope she gets well super soon.
