Pearl V Puri Rape Case: Victim’s Mother Ekta Sharma Named As Co-Accused Granted Bail, Drops A Strong Message, “Justice Will Prevail”

Popular TV actor Pearl V Puri was granted bail on Tuesday after he was accused of the alleged rape and molestation case filed against him. Now the victim’s mother Ekta Sharma who was also dragged to the court and named co-accused has been granted bail too. As per the reports Ekta has been granted interim bail by the session’s court.

As per a report in times, when the victim’s mother’s lawyer Swapna Kode was contacted she had revealed, “My client has been granted interim relief by the Hon’ble Sessions Court till 2/7. My client has been made an accused in the Pocso case and hence she has approached the court.” Swapna Kode had revealed that her client Ekta was dragged to the court after she was informed about being made an accused in the case.

She said, “My client was forced to move the court as she was informed that she has been made an accused and the reason given was she did not inform anyone despite knowing about the incident so she had no option but to move for anticipatory bail and the matter has been posted for July 2.”

Meanwhile, Ekta Sharma also took to her social media and shared an empowering message thanking her fans and well-wishers who stood by her side during these tough times. Her post read, “I want to make it clear once again, that I have not complained against anyone. And I am also the co-accused in this POCSO case. Justice will prevail.” She made another post on her Instagram stories and thanked everyone for asking how she is doing.

The victim’s mother wrote, “Thank you, everyone, for calling me and asking me how I am?” She said she is ‘Shattered’, but she has “full faith in God and our Judiciary”. The victim’s mother added, “Thank you to my mom and everyone, my friends who have been with me during this time.”
