Director Nitesh Tiwari’s film ‘Ramayana’ is being made with the Jeeva technology of DNEG and to further develop this technology, a big group in Abu Dhabi has decided to invest 200 million dollars i.e. about 1670 crore rupees in this project. London-based company DNEG has dominated cinema worldwide with its special effects. It was acquired by Indian company Prime Focus and now it is in a way owned by Indian officer Namit Malhotra. Namit Malhotra is the producer of the film ‘Ramayana’.

This Rs 1670 crore has been given to DNEG by Abu Dhabi’s big investor United Al Saker Group (UASG). And, after this investment, DNEG’s net value has increased to two billion dollars i.e. about 167 billion rupees. DNEG has recently achieved some special results regarding its company Brahma, which works on artificial intelligence. The recently released films in which this company has impressed everyone with the quality of its work include films like ‘Dune’, ‘Oppenheimer’, ‘Interstellar’, ‘Tenet’ and ‘Blade Runner 2049’. This company is also one of the producers of ‘The Garfield Movie’. And, these days it is working on ‘Animal Friends’, ‘Ramayana’ and ‘Angry Birds Movie 3’.

After signing the agreement between DNEG and UASG for the development of the technology, such a huge deal has been done, the biggest and most direct benefit from which is going to be given to Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’. According to the information, this is a technology in which after scanning the entire body of an artist, new scenes can be created according to the wish. The company itself also said in its statement that this new investment will mainly help Prime Focus Studios in developing its new high-level content. DNEG Chairman and CEO Namit Malhotra has described this new relationship as a new foundation for the development of technology in cinema.

Soon the company is also preparing to open an Abu Dhabi office. Where arrangements will be made for the production, storage, and distribution of entertainment content produced under this new agreement. Malhotra will continue to work in his position even after this new contract. Along with him, Nabil Kobeissi and Edouard Jarrard of UASG will also join the board of DNEG as directors. Prabhu Narasimhan of Nama Capital will also now be a board member of DNEG and will work as the executive chairman of the group company Brahma.
