Angad bedi and Neha Dhupia have been two such best friends who found love in each other. From falling in love in the gym to performing a private ‘anand karaj’ ceremony in Delhi in 2018, the couple have come a long way considering their 4 years long relationship before they finally tied the knot. Though they were quite successful in avoiding the media and catching their eyes, the couple finally shared the happy news with the world through their social media handles. Neha took everyone by surprise when she shared pictures of their wedding on her Instagram and introduced Angad as her husband.
Sharing pictures of their time together has become a regular practice ever since. It was only recently when the Bollywood celebrity shared a story about the couple being engrossed in a conversation alongside ‘with my favourite listener…@angadbedi’, to which her husband had a very comical comeback. Angad reposted the same picture and wrote “Ek hi baat karta hai yahaan to!!”, which earned many laughs from the public.
Though it wasn’t the first time when social media became a witness to their timely intervened banters, it has also been a frequent participant in their daily lives. It was through Angad’s instagram that people got to know about Neha’s pregnancy which after receiving some unwanted comments was finally brushed off by the couple.
It was also after Neha’s interview with Humans of Bombay when the world got to know the truth about their rushed wedding and the critics started laying low. “Finally, at a party, Karan Johar took us aside & screamed, ‘Can you not see this?! Are you blind?’ You should’ve seen the look on Angad’s face. He had ‘I told you so!’ tattooed on his forehead. When we finally decided to get married, he didn’t go down on one knee & propose. He told me I’d already wasted 4 years & declared ‘Chalo Dilli!’ to meet his parents. Then he said, ‘Before you change your mind, pick an outfit because we’re getting married in 2 days!’ Earlier, I loved the set life. I wouldn’t give it up for anything. But now I look forward to coming home to him. I couldn’t imagine myself as someone who runs to the door, but when it’s time for him to come home, guess what I do?” said Neha in the interview.
