South Indian superstar Nayanthara announced on Friday evening that her official X (formerly Twitter) account had been hacked. The actress alerted her followers through a brief statement, requesting them to disregard any unusual posts that may appear on her profile.
“Account has been hacked. Please ignore any unnecessary or strange tweets being posted,” Nayanthara shared in a post on X. The timing of the hack comes shortly after her recent activity on the platform, where she marked the one-year anniversary of her hit 2023 film Jawan. On September 7, the actress posted a clip from the film, celebrating its success and praising its director, Atlee. “1 Year Of Jawan. A complete Masssy from the chief Atlee. Jawan Makes it Huge. Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi super fans made it all big,” Nayanthara wrote.

In other Jawan-related news, the film is set to make its Japanese debut later this year. Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara’s co-star in the film, announced that Jawan will hit theaters in Japan on November 29, 2024. Sharing his excitement, the Bollywood star posted, “Ek kahani justice ki…vengeance ki…villain aur hero ki…Ek kahani Jawan ki… Aa rahi hai Japan ke theatres mein pehli baar!!! The fire and action you all loved is making a massy arrival in Japan!” Fans are eagerly awaiting the film’s overseas release, adding another milestone to its already impressive box office performance.
