As the release date for the highly anticipated comedy-drama “Bad Newz” approaches, its lead stars Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk are in full swing with their promotional activities. The film, directed by Anand Tiwari, is set to hit theatres on July 19, 2024, and the cast is leaving no stone unturned in generating buzz.

On Wednesday morning, Vicky Kaushal took to Instagram to share a humorous promotional video featuring himself, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk. The video, which quickly went viral, starts with Vicky offering a chocolate bar to Triptii. In return, she gives him a bottle of water. After taking a sip, Vicky faints and lies back on a chair. A flashback reveals that Triptii had mixed something toxic into the bottle. Ammy then arrives, and takes Triptii away in style, but she takes a bite of the chocolate and faints just like Vicky.

Fans Reaction

Sharing the video, Vicky captioned it, “Multiverse of Kalesh!!!” Fans and followers were quick to react, flooding the comment section with humorous remarks. One user commented, “We Got TikTok-like reel from Bollywood Actors before GTA VI.” Another wrote, “Literally roasted all the TikTokers.” Even actor Ayushmann Khurrana joined in, commenting, “Greater Kalesh colony.” The official page of Saregama also chimed in, calling it a “#TaubaTauba kidney touching video.”

Bad Newz,” directed by Anand Tiwari, is a comedy tale revolving around the concept of heteropaternal superfecundation, leading to unexpected and chaotic fatherhood scenarios. The film promises an emotional rollercoaster filled with rib-tickling humour as evident from its trailer.

The movie is a successor to the 2019 hit “Good Newwz,” which starred Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kiara Advani. Produced by Anand Tiwari, along with Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Amritpal Singh Bindra, “Bad Newz” is poised to bring laughter and chaos to the big screen starting July 19, 2024.
