Mrs. Starr Sanya Malhotra Says ‘Companions Make Life Beautiful’ Amid Dating Rumours

In a recent chat with Pinkvilla, Bollywood actress, Sanya Malhotra  revealed about her marriage plans amidst dating rumours. Sanya Malhotra is enjoying the success of her recently released film, Mrs. The movie’s critique of patriarchy and marriage is trending on social media and getting good response.

In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, the actress discussed relationships and marriage in the context of the film’s plot and Sanya’s alleged romance with Rishab Sharma. She acknowledged that she “does believe in companionship for sure,” adding that “love is such a beautiful thing.”

When asked if she thinks marriage is a heavy notion or if she believes in the institution of marriage, Sanya Malhotra said, “I do believe in having a companion for sure.” When further questioned about how life changes with a companion, Sanya replied, “I don’t know. I think it makes life beautiful. Maybe it’s love—it’s always nice to share love.” She added, “Love is such a beautiful feeling. I’m sure it’s beautiful, and, you know, a lot of people.”

Mrs., starring Sanya Malhotra, has finally made its way to an OTT platform for the Indian public after making its debut at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne and the New York Indian Film Festival in 2024. The actress’s portrayal of Richa Sharma in Arati Kadav’s film has garnered a lot of praise since its premiere.

She said she was genuinely blown away by the response, reflecting on the love and admiration the movie has been getting. She went on to say that the narrative is very meaningful to her and that Mrs. has a particular place in her heart.

Sanya Malhotra talked about her movie in an interview with PTI, saying that although some viewers found it upsetting, others started crying because they could relate to the narrative. She also disclosed that she had personal acquaintances who have experienced comparable difficulties to those of her character Richa, including a close friend.
