Movie ‘Saaho’ starring Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor is set to hit the theaters with postponed date now

After the popularly hit movie ‘Bahubali 2: The Conclusion’, the actor Prabhas is all set to return to silver screen with much awaited movie ‘Saaho’ with the one of the most charming actress of bollywood Shraddha Kapoor. But both of their fans may have to wait till the release of the movie that is freshly postponed to August 30 which was earlier August 15.

It has officially been announced by the makers of the film that it will be now showcased in all the nearby theaters a week later the earlier one. Taran Adarsh, who is an Indian film critic and trade analyst, took his twitter handle to share the official shift of the movie that has now been set to August 30’ 2019.


The reason behind the release date shift is that the makers don’t want to “compromise” on the quality of the action sequences and action- packed storyline.

“One of the biggest and most awaited movies of the year, Saaho which kick-started shooting in 2017 marking the return of Prabhas on the big screen after SS Rajamouli’s franchise has pushed its release date to August 30 this year. The movie was set for a release on August 15 this year but as we know it, the makers are not ready to serve the audience with any compromise on quality with the movie riding it on high- octane action sequences and never seen ever long action-packed storyline”, the statement by UV Creations read.

One of the spokesperson for the producers shared that although they are shifting the date from Independence Day, they want to stick to the month of freedom and patriotism with ‘Saaho’.

“We want to bring the best to the audience. For bringing fitnesse to the action sequences we need some more time. Although we are shfting the date from Independence Day but we want to stick to the month of Independence and patriotism with Saaho. We are dedicated to bringing the biggest movie on the largest scale.”

‘Saaho’ will also be marking Shraddha Kapoor’s first South Indian film industry debut.

However, Shraddha has all her upcoming movies set for the year, including ‘Street Dancer’, ‘Chhichhore’ and ‘Baaghi 3’.
