Manoj Bajpayee recently appears in the ZEE5 film Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai, in which he once again receives praise for his portrayal of a lawyer defending a godman who is accused of raping a youngster. In a recent interview, Manoj Bajpayee admitted that he didn’t enjoy working on the Disney Plus Hotstar film Gulmohar, which was released earlier this year. In the family drama directed by Rahul V Chittella, Sharmila Tagore, Simran, Amol Palekar, Suraj Sharma, Kaveri Seth, Utsavi Jha, and Talat Aziz also made appearances.

Manoj Bajpayee discussed if he watches and analyses his films with Bollywood Hungama, saying, “I feel bad. I just don’t like watching my films. I get into fights with my directors that you have not done justice. I watched both, Gulmohar and Joram, and fought with the directors of both films. I told them, ‘Bohot bura kaam hai mera, kaise tumne isko kar diya (I have done such bad work, how have you approved of it).”
However, the actor admitted that, aside from Bajpayee, his directors are often surprised by how well he performs and is regarded. The actor, however, feels that he is never satisfied with his portrayal and will always act out a scene in a different way. He stated: “I am never satisfied. If you give me a scene to do on ten different days, I will do it differently. That’s who I am.”
