Actress and singer Shehnaaz Gill, known for her appearance on Bigg Boss 13 and roles in films like Thank You For Coming and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, is under fire for her response to the news of philanthropist and industrialist Ratan Tata’s passing. Gill, who appeared unaware of the development, faced criticism for her casual demeanor and smile during a conversation about Tata’s death.

On Wednesday night, a paparazzo shared a video of Shehnaaz Gill being asked about Ratan Tata’s demise as she entered her car. Initially, Gill seemed clueless and hesitated before responding, saying, “Main yeh hi bolungi ki…” After a long pause, she added, “Jo hua vo accha nahi hua hai. But kuch kar hi nahi sakte.” Her tone shifted as she continued, “Kya bolu ab ispe main kuch bol hi nahi sakti, right?”

Netizens Reaction

Her reaction did not sit well with social media users, who quickly took to digital platforms to express their displeasure. Many criticized Gill for appearing uninformed and for her seemingly indifferent tone. One user commented, “She didn’t know anything about him seriously yaar,” while another wrote, “I think she doesn’t even know about Ratan Tata… very sad.”

Another user expressed disappointment, writing, “This video doesn’t seem like paying homage. Rather, it’s an insult to the departed soul. If someone can’t express grief for Ratan Tata, they can’t express anything.” Some went further, questioning why the question was posed to her, with one comment reading, “Kis bewakoof se ye puch rahe ho bhai sab? She doesn’t know how to respect the legend.”

The video continued to attract negative reactions, with several users accusing Gill of being disrespectful and detached. “She doesn’t feel anything! She sounded like she doesn’t know him, that’s why she doesn’t know what to say,” a comment read. Following the backlash, the paparazzo eventually deleted the video from Instagram.
