However, this is a dark reality of our society and there are so many homes that have been experiencing this crime and now a case from the world of glamour has come to light. Kumkum Bhagya actress Tripti Shankardhar has come forward to showcase a video and told that her father has been beating her, her mother, sister, and brother. She has even filed an FIR against her father and told a leading news journal Spotboye that her father even wanted to kill her.
She has posted a video of herself where she can be seen talking about her father’s actions towards her. She said that Ram Ratan Shankardhar is forcing her to marry a guy of his wishes and even said that her refusal for the same has angered her father, who is now even ready to kill her. He even wanted her to return the money that she had taken from him when she went to Mumbai.

Speaking to the portal, Tripti said, “I had filed a police complaint against him and cops have got him here. But I don’t want any legal procedure ahead or send him to jail. I just want a settlement as my mother, brother, sister and I don’t want to stay with him anymore.”
When she was asked about the reason for taking this big step, Tripti said, “He has always been a violent father and has been torturing us since childhood. Yesterday, he also beat me, my mother, brother and sister too. And it’s high time now.”
