Kris Jenner Reveals Plans To Remove Her Ovaries After Tumour Diagnosis

Reality star Kris Jenner has revealed plans to undergo surgery to remove her ovaries following the discovery of a tumour. The emotional announcement was made during the July 4 episode of “The Kardashians,” where she shared the news with her daughters Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Kendall Jenner.

“I went to the doctor and I had my scan,” Jenner tearfully told her daughters. “They found a cyst. They said I gotta have my ovaries taken out.”

Despite the serious nature of the procedure, the 68-year-old, who is also mother to Kourtney Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner, expressed a mix of emotions about parting with her ovaries. “That’s where all my kids were conceived,” she said. “It’s also a thing about getting older. It’s a sign of ‘we’re done with this part of your life.’ It’s a whole chapter that’s just closed.”

In a separate confessional, Jenner reflected on her role as a mother. “People often ask me what is the best job you’ve ever had, and I always say mom. The biggest blessing in my life was being able to give birth to six beautiful kids.”

In typical Kardashian fashion, Jenner’s family quickly rallied behind her. Kourtney, who called to check on her mother, expressed her understanding and empathy in a confessional. “I totally understand how my mom is feeling because I would feel the same way. It’s your womanly power. It doesn’t mean it’s taking away who she is or what she’s experienced, but I would feel this sentimental feeling of what it’s created.”

Kim also empathized with her mother, expressing her sadness over the situation. “To have a surgery and remove your ovaries is a really big deal,” she said. “I couldn’t even imagine being in that situation.”

Jenner’s longtime boyfriend Corey Gamble showed his support by surprising her with a special gift to lift her spirits. “I don’t want you to be sad,” he told her before presenting a Prada coat. “Babe, you’re gonna cry at least 15 more times, so I want you to have a gift.”

Jenner, despite the challenging health journey, kept her spirits up. She even joked with her family about her emotional response to the gift from Gamble. “My not sad anymore,” she quipped, wiping away tears. “It’s amazing how new clothes fix everything.”
