It’s really sad when someone can go from being your everything to a complete stranger within a short span of time. While we truly believe that nothing is more important than being in love and it is okay to walk out of the marriage as soon as you realize that things are not working and it’s better to let go. Something similar is happening to one of the most loved and adored couples of the town, Konkona Sen And Ranvir Shorey. Not only the two seemed made for each other but they have always managed to give couple goals to the Millenials with their camaraderie.

Konkona Sen And Ranvir Shorey tied the knot on September 3, 2010, in a private setup with their family members and closed ones. The actors revealed about their wedding on twitter two days post their wedding. And then their industry friends showered their love on the couple. In which, Konkona looked gorgeous in typical Bengali attires, while being a punjabi, Ranvir showed off his Punjabi chivalry in a cream coloured sherwani. However, the marriage did not last. The couple started to live separately since 2015. And now, after 10 years of their wedding, they have officially filed for divorce.

According to the report by SpotboyE, “The legal separation has been put forth by mutual consent. All the formalities are over and the decree will come through in the next six months. Both underwent detailed counselling but failed to agree that they should give their marriage another shot. This is one of the most amicable divorces ever seen. But yes, it is extremely sad that they could not get back together as man and wife” While Advocate Vandana Shah represented Ranvir, Konkona was represented by Advocate Shanti Sathe.

For those who don’t know, Konkona and Ranvir have a child together. Speaking about the changing the stereotype back in 2014, Ranvir shared, “It’s about changing gender roles. Since Haroon’s mom is usually busier than I am, we came up with this idea. It’s not so much about spending a few hours bonding with my son as it’s about child-rearing. So, Haroon has two homes now and half the time he’s at my place and the other half with his mom.”
