Hours before Saif Ali Khan was stabbed by intruders at his Bandra home, Kareena Kapoor had a gala time with her girls gang. Because of their swoon-worthy romance and family life, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan frequently make headlines. However, the most adored couple recently found themselves in hot water after intruders broke into their upscale Bandra residence.  He was attacked by intruders who broke into his house late at night. After the thugs reportedly stabbed the star six times, he was sent right away to Lilavati Hospital for surgery.

Hours before Kareena Kapoor was in Girls Night When Saif Ali Khan was attacked

Just a few hours before her husband Saif was attacked by thugs, Kareena Kapoor was spotted having a glamorous time with her girl’s gang. Rhea Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, and Karisma Kapoor all had a comfortable girls’ night in, according to an Instagram story she posted.

Saif Ali Khan was taken to Lilavati Hospital for surgery

According to reports, culprits who broke into Saif Ali Khan’s home with the goal to commit burglary stabbed him six times. After being taken to Lilavati Hospital right after, the actor had surgery to treat his wounds. Even IPS officials are working on the investigation, along with the Mumbai crime department. The incident sparked worries about India’s rising crime rate. Lilavati Hospital’s COO, Dr. Niraj, further added:

“Saif was attacked by an unidentified person in his house. He was brought in at 3:30 am in Lilavati. He has six injuries, two of which are deeper. One of the injuries is closer to his spine. We are operating on him. He is being operated upon by Neurosurgeon Nitin Dange, cosmetic surgeon Leena Jain, and anesthetist Nisha Gandhi. We will be told the extent of the damage only after the surgery is done.”

Saif Ali Khan’s health status

Saif was stabbed, and the other people in the house woke up, and the robbers ran away. When they saw him covered in blood, the house staff took him to the hospital right away. Doctors say he has two major knife wounds and four minor ones, including one at his backbone. However, only after surgery can they determine the severity of the attack. A senior IPS officer discusses the incident: 

“Saif Ali Khan has been admitted to the Lilavati Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. It is not clear yet if he is stabbed or injured in the scuffle with the robber. We have been investigating the matter. The Mumbai crime branch is also conducting a parallel investigation into the incident.”

Kareena Kapoor shared Why Saif chose his son’s name Taimur as an ode to a friend

Kareena Kapoor explained why Saif chose to name his elder son Taimur. Since it belonged to his first childhood best buddy, she claimed it was her husband, Saif. It had nothing to do with the Mughal ruler, she added. She stated: “When we came up with the name… Saif actually said… He grew up with a neighbour friend, and he always really liked his name and his name was Taimur, so he said, ‘You know, if I have a son, he was my first friend. I’d like to name him Taimur’, and that’s exactly how Taimur was named because he was Saif’s first friend when he was living in town here.”
