Kalki Koechlin has been getting into the limelight recently for her pregnancy. And on 7th February, she gave birth to her daughter. While everyone is congratulating the actress for her newborn baby, all of us want to see the first pics of the little munchkin. Now, she hasn’t shared the picture but she did share a picture with her little girl’s footprint and her name.
Yes, she has given a unique and beautiful name to her baby and we all are fascinated. She gave birth to her baby girl with her boyfriend Guy Hersherberg. After welcoming a little princess home, Kalki Koechlin announces her girl’s name which is simply lovely as she is being named as ‘Sappho.’
She shared a pic on Instagram with the following caption, “Please welcome Sappho. Born 07/02/20. She just spent 9 months wrapped up like a momo in my uterus. Let’s give her some space?️ Thank you for all the good wishes and positive energy pouring in. And respect to all the women who go through the intense and gruesome experience of birth, be it vaginal or c section, so many of whom are not given credit or support for the biggest challenges they face, but are expected to do it out of some kind of duty. The process takes a huge toll both psychological and physical and should have the backing of an entire community to truly heal.”

Her caption further says that women are survivors and should be treated ourselves and others with that love and respect. “And a reminder to each and every human being of where we started, being formed from tiny molecules to conscious, beautiful beings.
