In the birth anniversary of her late father, actress Hina Khan took to Instagram to share a heartfelt video, expressing her longing for her father and wishing for “just one hug.” The actress, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy for Stage 3 breast cancer, posted the emotional tribute on her Instagram Stories, where she has over 20 million followers.
The video, accompanied by the caption, “Papa I can handle every situation, but when I remember you, I am unable to control myself,” captures the depth of Hina’s grief. She added a personal message, writing, “8th August… Happy birthday dad… just one hug dad, just one hug,” followed by crying face and broken heart emojis.
Hina Khan is best known for her iconic role as Akshara in the popular television show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Her career spans various reality TV shows, including Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 8, Bigg Boss 11, and Bigg Boss 14. Beyond television, she has also ventured into films, starring in movies such as Hacked, Wishlist, and the short film Smartphone.
