Jaideep Ahlawat Opened Up About Vijay Varma Verbally Abused Him For Winning An Award, ‘Award Kha Gaya..’
Jaideep Ahlawat talked candidly about his relationship with Vijay Varma in a recent interview, describing how the latter cursed at him after winning an award for which they were both nominated. Before becoming well-known for the 2012 crime movie Gangs of Wasseypur, he had a number of tiny appearances. The actor most recently portrayed “Maharaj Jadunath” in the debut film of Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan, Maharaj. Regarding TV shows, his most recent appearance was in Paatal Lok 2.

The Pataal Lok actor has now talked candidly about his enjoyable friendship with his co-star Jaane Jaan. In an interview with Puja Talwar, Jaideep disclosed that his friend Vijay had once made fun of him for winning an award for which they were both nominated. Jaideep talked candidly about his peers Vijay Varma and Rajkummar Rao during the discussion. He disclosed that they had a healthy rivalry with one another.
A humorous story that still made him laugh was then recalled by Jaideep. He revealed that although he received a nomination for an award for his outstanding performance in Maharaj, Vijay was also considered for the same honour. Nevertheless, Jaideep emerged victorious and received the award. Despite his joy on the night of the award ceremony, Vijay contacted Jaideep the following day and cursed at him for accepting his medal. One quote from him read:
“But agle din mujhe gaaliyan de raha hai ki ye mera award kha gaya. That’s so healthy and funny; it aligns your system.”
Jaideep Ahlawat’s friendship with Rajkummar Rao and Vijay Varma
Vijay Varma and Rajkummar Rao have been friends with Jaideep Ahlawat for nearly twenty years. In 2005, the three went to the Film and Television Institute of India to study together. It is therefore unthinkable to him that they are nominated for awards nowadays and even present them to one another. Professionally speaking, the three appeared together on screen in the 2012 movie Chittagong.

Jaideep Ahlawat previously discussed whether his fans will be able to witness him in a love role in an interview with ANI. Actor Jaideep, who is renowned for his versatility, admitted that while he enjoys experimenting with different parts, he doesn’t believe he would be a good fit for a romantic role. He went on to say that he might never be given a chance to play the lead in conventional Bollywood romantic flicks. He said:
“Mai toh kar luna, Koi lega he nai muje, shayad mai galat hoon but samne wala ko believe karna padega.”
