The happy-go-lucky girl of Bollywood, Jacqueline Fernandez is currently going through a low phase in her life. The ‘Kick’ actress’s name was recently involved in the Rs 200-crore money laundering case and the diva had to appear before Enforcement Directorate (ED) to clarify her relations with conman Sukesh Chandrashekar and wife Leena Maria Paul.
Last week, the actress finally appeared before the ED after skipping summon four times because of personal and professional reasons. According to ANI, Sukesh admitted in front of the actress for gifting her luxury cars and gifts. Jacqueline had first appeared in front of the ED on August 30th and recorded her statement under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). ED had also asked the actress to explain the trail of transactions between her and conman Sukesh and also submit the proof of her claims.
However, amid all the controversies Jacqueline seems to handle all the problems quite well, as her recent post also suggests the same. On Sunday, the diva took to her Instagram handle to share a picture of her in an old and torn top. Jacqueline could be seen smiling her heart out in the pictures to which she even gave a strong caption, “Torn, but not damaged,” she wrote.

Apart from Jacqueline, actress, and dancer Nora Fatehi too was asked to appear before the ED for allegedly having connections with the conman. On October 23rd, Sukesh Chandrasekhar told the ED about gifting a car to Nora Fatehi. The actress appeared in front of the ED recently and claimed that she is the victim in the whole case.
On October 23, when Sukesh Chandrasekhar was taken to the courtroom by ED officials, he was asked whether he had gifted a car to Nora Fatehi. When he responded yes, he was asked which car, to which he responded, “Why don’t you ask her about it?” His lawyer Anant Malik told the media on Saturday, “Nora Fatehi claims to be a victim but she was gifted a BMW car. “Nora Fatehi has been the victim around the case and being a witness, she is co-operating and helping the officers in the investigation. We would like to make it very clear that she has not been a part of any money laundering activity, she does not know or have any personal connection with the accused and has been called by ED to strictly help with the investigation,” said Nora Fatehi’s spokesperson.
