As per reports, Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt is eyeing a career in Hollywood. Over the last few years, she has established herself as one of the most versatile actors in Bollywood, and is now looking to expand her horizons. The actor has reportedly tied up with William Morris Endeavor (WME), a talent management agency that will help her explore a career in the West. She took to Instagram to share the news about her association with the agency. She posted a screenshot of a news article, published in Deadline, to confirm the good news. The agency has a demonstrated history of representing artistes in movies, theater, television and digital media. In the past, the agency has also managed the accounts of celebrities such as Emma Stone, Gal Gadot and Charlize Theron.
Alia Bhatt is not the first Bollywood actor to explore a career in Hollywood. In the past, actors such as Deepika Padukone,Priyanka Chopra, Hrithik Roshan and Vidyut Jamwal, too, have featured in Hollywood movies. Deepika made her Hollywood debut with XXX Return of The Xander Cage, in which she was seen opposite actor Vin Diesel. Priyanka, on the other hand, has been part of several Hollywood projects such as Quantico, Baywatch, We Can Be Heroes. She also has a lot of projects such as Citadel, Matrix 4 and Text For You, in the pipeline.
On the work front, one of the most anticipated releases of Alia, has been Brahmastra, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachhan, Shah Rukh Khan, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna Akkineni and many others. She recently finished shooting for the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial, Gangubai Kathiawadi. The actor is all set to make her Telugu debut with RRR, in which she will be seen along side actors, Ram Charan and Jr NTR. She has also signed up for Darlings, in which she will be sharing screen space with Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew. Alia will be co producing the film along with Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma, under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment and Eternal Sunshine Production, thus making her debut as a producer. Lastly, she will be seen opposite Ranveer Singh in the Karan Johar directorial, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. This will be her second collaboration with the actor, the first one being Gully Boy.
