On Tuesday Morning, Hrithik Roshan’s ex-wife Sussanne Khan was reportedly booked by Mumbai Police for violating the COVID-19 norms at a Mumbai nightclub. Along with Sussane, cricketer Suresh Raina, Singer Badshah, Guru Randhawa, and other 34 stars were also booked by Mumbai Police. As per the reports, arrests were made by during a raid by the Mumbai Police as they are not following the COVID-19 guidelines. Soon after the reports came out in public, Guru Randhawa and Suresh Raina issued clarifications. Now, Sussanne Khan has issued a clarification on her arrest and called the reports incorrect and irresponsible.
Sharing a long note on her Instagram handle, Sussanne Khan wrote, “My Humble Clarification.” Her clarification read, “Last night I was at a close friend’s birthday dinner & a few of us extended to the Dragon Fly club at JW Marriot, Sahar. At 2.30 am the authorities entered the club. Whilst the club management and the authorities were sorting things out, all the guests present were asked to wait for a period of three hours. We were finally allowed to leave at 6 am. Therefore, the speculation by parts of the media that there were arrests made are completely incorrect and also irresponsible.”
Her statement further read, “I fail to understand why we were made to wait or what the issue was with the authorities and the club. I am setting the record straight with this statement. I have utmost regard & respect for the Mumbai Police and for all their selfless efforts in keeping us Mumbaikars safe. Without their constant vigilance for public welfare, we would not feel safe. Best regards, Sussane.” In her statement, the designer clarified that the guests at the nightclub were asked to wait for three hours and were allowed to leave later. She also said that she does not understand why the guests at the club were asked to wait or what issues the authorities had with the club.
