Anushka Sharma is one of the topmost actresses of Bollywood who has worked in many blockbuster films. The actress made her Bollywood debut with ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ alongside the king of romance, Shah Rukh Khan, and never looked back. The actress became an overnight star and soon after gave a major hit with Band Baja Baarat which was also the debut movie of Ranveer Singh.

However, the actress has stayed from limelight ever since she tied the knot with the love of her life, Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli. The power couple dated each other for five long years before marrying each other. In the first lockdown, the star couple announced their pregnancy and gave birth to a beautiful girl Vamika. Although, Anushka has been shooting for her brand endorsements and fulfilling her commitments but she hasn’t announced any major film project.  The actress’s last release was ‘Zero’ which was released in the year 2018.

Talking about her work, the actress recently opened about her break with Grazia magazine. Anushka said that she wanted to take time off and retrospect what kind of work, she wanted to sign up for. In addition to this, she spoke about mental health, she said, “The conversation surrounding mental health and the importance of taking a break has now gained prominence, given the trying times we’ve had.” According to her, having choc-o-bloc diary doesn’t mean that a certain person is a better worker. She adds, “As a creative individual, you have to allow yourself that breathing room, that space to grow, invent, and re-invent.”

Anushka furthermore added that the women have additional pressure in both the phases of their life, before and after pregnancy, she adds, “Despite being somebody who is fairly self-aware, I was worried. I kept thinking – am I going to hate my body?” Anushka has stayed away from the silver screen and has accompanied her husband Virat Kohli for his cricket tournaments.
