Kajol is one of the most popular actresses in the Bollywood industry. The actress has done some of the most iconic scenes which audiences love revisiting today also. Among such famous scenes which showed Indian traditions was the ‘Karwa Chauth’ scene in DDLJ and K3G. However, not everyone was impressed with the scenes especially the ladies around the actress in real life.
Kajol is currently busy promoting her upcoming web series ‘The Trial’ and during the promotions, she dropped truth bombs. The actress is known for not thinking twice before she speaks she told in an interview how the famous scenes changed everyone’s perception towards the occasion. She added that now celebrating the day has become more glamorous, especially after her two films. As in the scenes, all the ladies had to dress up and celebrate the festival.
The actress then told how many ladies have walked up to her and told her the films have ruined the festival for them. Explaining further on the same she said that it has spoiled the celebration for both men and women as earlier it was all about doing simple things. According to the Kajol, everyone now has to dress up well and do things out of their comfort zone. ” Women have to wear jewellery, poori dukaan ban kar baith jaao bas (like a Christmas tree they have to get dressed). Bhookh bhi chalegi (its okay even if we stay hungry) as long as you are looking good while you are starving,” she said.
On the work front, Kajol was last seen in Lust Stories 2, her upcoming web series ‘The Trial’ will release on OTT soon.
