Bollywood diva Dia Mirza has lost her niece in a car accident. The actress has shared an emotional and heart-wrenching note to inform her fans about the unfortunate incident. The actress took to her official Instagram handle and wrote that her niece, Tanya Kakde, has passed away. “My niece. My child. My jaan. Gone into the light. May you find peace and love wherever you are my darling… you always brought a smile to our hearts and the higher realms will be filled with more light with you dancing, smiling, and singing. Om Shanti,” she wrote.
Dia also shared a beautiful picture of her niece along with an emotional note. The fans and followers of the actress took to the comment section to send condolences to the family. “ so sorry for your loss, hope she has found a better place,” wrote one user. “May she be the brightest star in the sky,” wrote another user. “this is heartbreaking, may her soul rest in peace,” wrote another netizen.
Many celebrities such as Sidhanth Chaturvedi, Prajakta Koli, Gul Panag, and others also mourn the youngster’s demise. The actress didn’t mention the reason behind the death but reportedly Tanya was coming back from Hyderabad’s airport along with her friends. The accident took place on NH 44 and the people present on spot rushed Tanya and others to the hospital. However, the hospital informed that Tanya had passed away on her way to the hospital.
Earlier, Tanya Kakde had mentioned in an interview that she takes inspiration from her masi Dia Mirza and that she looks up to her.
