Asin Thottumkal made her Bollywood debut with Aamir Khan in the blockbuster film ‘Ghajini’. The diva soon became popular among the audience after she played the chirpy role of Kalpana in the film. the actress with her brilliant acting skills made the fans laugh and cry in the movie. The songs in the movie were equally popular and became instant hits.
However, after Ghajini, Asin hardly worked in a few more Hindi films and then got married to Rahul Sharma. The actress’s husband is the co-founder of Micromax and the couple often shares pictures from their vacations at exotic places. Asin kept a low profile after tying the knot and becoming a mother. Yes, she is blessed with a baby girl, Arin Rayn whose pictures the actress had shared on her 4th birthday.
The actress before entering the Bollywood industry had already worked in Tamil, Telugu and Malayam movies. She has bagged 10 nominations and is the winner of 3 Filmfare awards. Asin was already a superstar in down south before she became a hit in Bollywood too.

Asin had also took to her social media platform and shared pictures with the late legendary actor Rishi Kapoor. The actress had shared some throwback pictures and wrote “Rishi Uncle” with a heartbreak emoji. In one of the pictures, Asin could be seen with her husband Rahul Sharma. While sharing her wedding pictures Asin wrote, “so it happened…19th January 2016”.
At the reception of the actress, she had invited the superstar of Bollywood Akshay Kumar. While sharing the invitation card’s picture she wrote, “ the best man at the wedding obviously gets the first card of the wedding reception.”
