Bholaa, Ajay Devgn’s action thriller, was released in theatres on March 30. A special screening of the film was hosted in Mumbai a day before its release, and several celebrities, including Kajol, attended. The actress appeared for her husband’s movie screening with her son Yug, but she was mocked for her outfit choices.
A paparazzi account shared a video of Kajol coming to the screening of Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa on Friday. The actress was photographed clutching a white coat and wearing a mustard and white one-piece bodycon dress. She finished off her ensemble with sunglasses and white heels. When mingling with the paparazzi, the actress could be heard stating, “Bholaa day.”
Netizens were dissatisfied with Kajol’s appearance and mocked the actress for her choice of clothes. Several of them also body-shamed the actress and speculated about her pregnancy. “Someone please make her learn how to wear clothing,” one of the comments said. “Is she pregnant?” asked another. “This is one actress that really needs help with a makeover,” another commenter said. “Why to wear something that makes you appear like a caterpillar?” said another.

In the meantime, Kajol was most recently seen in Ravathy’s Salaam Venky. Vishal Jethwa also appears in the film with the actress. The story follows a mother who tackles every hurdle her unwell son has and encourages him to live life to the fullest. The film also marks the actress’s reunion with her Fanaa co-star Aamir Khan, who appears in a brief cameo.
Talking about Bholaa, the film is directed by Ajay Devgn and stars Tabu, Deepak Dobriyal, Vineet Kumar, Sanjay Mishra, and Gajraj Rao. The action thriller, which debuted in theatres on March 30, is based on the Tamil film Kaithi.
