Farhan Akhtar to tie the Knot with his long time Girlfriend Shibani Dandekar in 2019 : Report
Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar may finally tie the knot after dating for a long time now. The couple somehow managed to keep their relationship secret for a long time but their public appearances have fuelled romance since the past few months.
At first in November 2018 Farhan Akhtar took to Instagram and posted a lovely picture with his rumoured lady-love, Shibani. The picture captioned: “Look who I bumped into! So great seeing you @shibanidandekar”. Check out the picture here:
The couple dropped many hints on Instagram throughout but the picture that really got the fans attention was the one that Shibani posted with a mystery man on her Instagram account. Check out the picture below :
The lovebirds decided to make their first public appearance at the Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s wedding reception in Mumbai last month. Ever since, The couples Instagram posts are just filled with ‘we pictures’, which clearly indicates how serious they are for each other.
Now the latest rumours suggest that the couple is planning to tie the knot in 2019. A source close to the couple told DNA, “They are extremely serious about each other and Farhan’s kids have also warmed up to Shibani, so this looks like the most obvious step for the two.”
Shibani also broke her silence over their dating rumours while giving an interview to Mid-Day. She said that she didn’t need the feel to make an announcement about her relationship status.
“I don’t need to make an announcement about who I’m dating. It’s up to me to decide when and what I want to share about my personal life, and it is up to the audience to decide how they look at it. How much information I want to put out in the public domain is my prerogative,” she said.
Farhan was earlier married to Adhuna Bhabani for 17 years and got divorced in 2016. The ex-couple have two children, Shakya and Akira. While Farhan is planning to marry Shibani, his ex-wife Adhuna is in a relationship with Dino Morea’s brother, Nicole Morea.
