Actor Asif Basra found dead in a private complex in Himachal Pradesh.
According to the reports, Asif Basra has been living in a rented apartment in McLeodganj for the last 5 years. He allegedly committed suicide on 12 November, however, the reason behind the drastic step is not known yet. According to a report published in News 18, Asif was suffering from depression. It is being said that Asif was living in with a foreign woman from the UK in that rented apartment. Today morning, Asif had reportedly taken his pet dog out, and soon after he came back home. He hung himself trapped with his dog belt. The initial investigation revealed that he was a victim of depression. Confirming the case, SP Vimukt Ranjan of Kangra said that the police have begun investigating the case.
Asif Basra was last seen in the second season of Disney+ Hotstar series Hostages. He also starred as a senior executive in a media house in Amazon Prime’s Paatal Lok, which released earlier this year. Asif has also been seen in films such as Jab We Met, Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, Krrish 3, Ek Villain and many others.
