‘Exercise Caution’: What Sidharth Malhotra Says After Fan Gets Scammed Rs 50 Lakh In Actor’s Name

Actor Sidharth Malhotra has responded to allegations that administrators of one of his fan pages scammed a fan out of Rs 50 lakh. Taking to social media, Malhotra issued a statement clarifying that neither he nor his family endorses such actions and urged fans to be vigilant against fraudulent activities.

Malhotra’s statement read: “It has been brought to my attention that certain fraudulent activities/scams have been circulating on various social media platforms, allegedly claiming to be associated with or in relation to me, my family, and people claiming to be my fans and seeking money.”

He continued, “I want to assure everyone reading this that neither I nor my family or team support any of this. I urge all of you to exercise caution when dealing with such matters. If you receive any suspicious requests, report them to the appropriate authorities and avoid spreading false information. My fans have always been my biggest strength, and your trust and safety are my top priorities. Big Love and Hug!”

The actor’s statement came in response to accusations from a US-based fan named Minoo Vasudeva. On social media platform X, Vasudeva claimed she was deceived by two individuals, Aliza and Husna Parveen, who allegedly managed the fan page @sidmalhotra.updates. Vasudeva accused them of concocting stories about Malhotra’s life being in danger due to his wife, actress Kiara Advani, and soliciting money to ‘save Sid.’

The Incident

Vasudeva shared chat screenshots and wrote, “Dear @sidmalhotra & all Sidians, My name is Minoo Vasudeva from USA. There is a serious incident you all should know about admins Aliza & Husna Parveen, @sidmalhotra.updates. Between October 2023 to December 2023, they stole 50 lakhs from me. Between October 18th-24th 2023, they stole 10.5K rupees from my friend in UK, Maariya. Disclaimer: Some chats & evidence during this time have been deleted. However, I have crucial ones as evidence.”

Sidharth Malhotra was last seen in Karan Johar’s film *Yodha*. As the investigation into these allegations continues, Malhotra’s fans are advised to remain cautious and report any suspicious activity to the relevant authorities.
