Eminem’s daughter, Hailie Jade Scott, has announced she is expecting her first child. In a recent episode of the “Just A Little Shady” podcast, which she co-hosts with best friend Brittany Ednie, Hailie shared how she discreetly concealed her pregnancy during her wedding earlier this year.

Excitedly revealing the news, Hailie stated, “You may or may not be tuning in because you could have heard the news that I’m pregnant. Yay! We finally shared it. It’s such a relief to finally say it.” She reminisced about her wedding in May, playfully recalling a drunken monologue she gave about her fear of The Joker that lasted “30 minutes.”

Brittany Ednie defended her actions during the wedding, revealing that guests were unaware of Hailie’s pregnancy at the time. “People did not know that she was pregnant. She was grabbing a drink, not consuming it as a responsible parent does,” Ednie explained. She added that whenever guests turned away, Hailie would hand her drink to Brittany, allowing her to drink it to maintain the illusion that Hailie was partaking in the festivities.

Hailie supported Brittany’s defense, saying, “It was like an unspoken thing with our eyes.” She also mentioned that her husband, Evan McClintock, typically helps out by taking sips from her drinks, but on that particular night, he wasn’t in a party mood. “I was having a lavender lemonade, and Evan was like, ‘I don’t want that,'” Hailie recalled.

On October 3, Eminem, who recently turned 51, released a music video titled “Temporary.” The video features nostalgic footage of Hailie, culminating in an emotional moment where she surprises her father with the pregnancy news. She gifts him a blue football jersey reading “Grandpa” with the number one and shows him a sonogram image, prompting an emotional reaction from the rapper.

Hailie also announced her pregnancy on Instagram, sharing photos with Evan and captioning them, “Mom & dad est. 2025.” The couple first met at Michigan State University in 2016 and got engaged on February 4, 2023, after dating for six years. Following their wedding, Hailie shared on Instagram, “Waking up as a wife this week. We couldn’t have asked for a better, more beautiful weekend celebration,” expressing gratitude to family and friends for their support during this new chapter in their lives.
