The announcement came through a joint Instagram post, where the couple revealed the birth of their daughter. The post featured a simple message on a white background, reading, “Welcome baby girl! 8.9.2024, Deepika & Ranveer.” The couple did not add a caption, letting the announcement speak for itself. According to reports, the baby was born at Mumbai’s HN Reliance Hospital.
As soon as the post went live, Bollywood stars and fans alike flocked to the comments section to congratulate the new parents. Actor Ananya Panday was among the first to comment, writing, “Baby girl! Congratulations.” Shraddha Kapoor followed suit with a heartfelt, “Congratulations!!!” accompanied by red heart emojis. Parineeti Chopra expressed her excitement with a jubilant, “Congratssssssss.”

Deepika and Ranveer first met on the set of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2013 film Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ram-Leela, where their on-screen chemistry ignited a real-life romance. They later starred in two more Bhansali films, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat.
On the professional front, both stars have a busy schedule ahead. Deepika is set to appear in Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty, which will be released during Diwali 2024. Interestingly, Ranveer Singh also stars in the film, marking yet another collaboration for the couple.
