The trailer launch of Singham Again turned into a high-energy affair, largely due to Ranveer Singh, who lit up the event with his lively presence. The star-studded launch, featuring Ajay Devgn, Arjun Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, and director Rohit Shetty, saw Ranveer take the stage without his wife, Deepika Padukone.

Addressing the audience, Ranveer explained why Deepika could not attend the event. “Deepika toh baby ke saath busy hai. Toh aa nehi payi. Meri duty night ko hai, toh main aa gaya (Deepika is busy with the baby. So she couldn’t make it. My duty is at night, so I came),” said the actor, in his trademark humorous style.

Ranveer also shared a special piece of news—Deepika was pregnant during the filming of Singham Again. He humorously introduced their daughter as “Baby Simmba.” “Yeh meri baby ka debut hain. Baby Simmba. Deepika was pregnant during the shooting. Lady Singham, Baby Simmba, and Simmba ke taraf se aap sab ko Happy Diwali (This is my baby’s debut. Wishing you a Happy Diwali from Simmba, Baby Simmba, and Lady Singham),” he added, delighting the audience.

The Singham Again trailer begins with Kareena Kapoor’s character, Avni Kamat, narrating the heroic tale of Ram rescuing Sita to her son. When the boy questions whether his father would do the same for his mother, Ajay Devgn’s iconic character, Bajirao Singham, quips, “Google pe Bajirao Singham type kar le, pata chal jayega tera baap kaun hai (Type Bajirao Singham on Google, and you’ll know who your father is).”

The film’s plot centers around Kareena Kapoor’s abduction by the villainous Arjun Kapoor. Ajay Devgn’s Bajirao Singham, backed by an army of cops including Ranveer Singh as Sangram “Simmba” Bhalerao, Akshay Kumar as Veer Sooryavanshi, and Deepika Padukone as Shakti Shetty, will stop at nothing to save her.

The Singham franchise, which began in 2011, has been a consistent box office success, with each installment, including Simmba (2018) and Sooryavanshi (2021), further expanding its “cop-universe.” Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Singham Again this Diwali.
