Deepika mentioned in her note how much she enjoys working out. She went on to say that she exercises for more than just appearance. The soon-to-be mother also mentioned how she does prenatal yoga because she is unable to work out at this time. She penned: “I love a good workout. I don’t work out to ‘look good’ but to ‘feel fit’. Exercise has been part of my lifestyle for as long as I can remember. However, when I can’t fit in a workout, I practice this simple 5-minute routine. I do this every day, whether I work out or not. It’s especially useful after a long flight or just to decompress.”
What is prenatal yoga?
Prenatal yoga is a method of preparing for childbirth. It’s a comprehensive strategy that promotes targeted breathing during labour and stretching before giving birth. Studies show that pregnant women can safely rent yoga mats, which can also be very beneficial to their unborn children. Furthermore, it enhances slumber. Nonetheless, it is imperative to practise prenatal yoga under the supervision of a qualified yoga instructor.
